The story.
I started my career working on 2D illustrations and AutoCAD at a local (but Global) manufacturing firm, which later turned into designing user experiences through enterprise-level, AI-enabled software. At DICK’S Sporting Goods, I have come around full-circle from leading product design teams for omni-channel retail products that IBM sold, to leading product design teams for omni-channel store technology products, built in house. At IBM, I worked in a Global and Sr. Product Design Leadership role at IBM Studios Columbus where I led a large, Global team of Design Researchers, UX Designers, Content Designers, and Visual Designers for one of IBMs largest omni-channel products with AI-enabled technology serving top retail brands. Almost my entire career, I have worked in a remote or hybrid setting while leading Global teams to deliver human-centered experiences.
For fun.
Well—no two days are the same in my family. One day we are on a hike in a woods, another day we are working on art + woodworking projects, and in the fall you’ll typically find us at a football field or cross-country course. We enjoy marvel movie marathons and Catan, but my fav is family dinner. We always make time for it. It’s not always at the time we’d like to eat, but we make it work. If you asked me what I do for fun, it’s family dinner. I love hearing how everyone’s day went (the good + the bad) and all the commentary, laughter and if I’m honest (even a little banter) between all the personalities at the table. I also LOVE to travel.
